ABOUT US

WHAT

WE’RE

ABOUT

BENEFITS

We provide our team members with fun performance and competition opportunities while supporting and encouraging their individual goals for their desired craft.

AUDITIONS

At BAPA&C, teams are chosen based on skill level, ability to receive instruction and willingness to work with others. The goal is to encourage each individual’s growth while building a strong team.

PURPOSE

The spirit of a child is of utmost importance. Striking just the right balance of discipline and free spirited creativity provides the perfect foundation for learning, especially in the arts.

APPLICATION

Our goal is to assist young artists in learning and applying the principles of performing arts beyond the scope of their experience with us.

CASTING

BAPA&C incorporates a casting component that works as an encouraging network to find, prepare and participate in professional opportunities inside and outside of our network.

WE BELIEVE

The student is the priority.

Students should never be asked to participate in something that makes them uncomfortable or goes against their family’s or personal moral standards. Performances, songs and venues will be chosen with this in mind.

Setting the bar high builds confidence and a sense of accomplishment.

If instruction is given in a loving, encouraging, “you got this” way, failure becomes an exciting opportunity to overcome a difficult challenge. The rewards of doing your personal best and contributing to a team’s success have great payoffs.

Encourage life long learning and development.

Often when children are taught to mimic under the guise of teaching, they develop the inability to work without a coach. They are unable to work independently or adapt to multiple characters and scenarios. We work to transfer the understanding of technique directly to the student as early as possible, in an age appropriate manner.

Balancing Competition and Respect

BAPA&C recognizes that even if children are extraordinarily talented for their age, they are still impressionable young people who need encouragement, support and a safe place to try, succeed and fail. Learning how to celebrate the success of others is equally important. Great emphasis will be placed how to embrace healthy competition as a means to excite, challenge and motivate, while demonstrating great respect and kindness toward others, win or lose.

Drive MUST come from the student, not the parent.

There are wonderful schools and community programs that provide performance opportunities for young people. BAPA&C is specifically designed for students that love the craft, enjoy a challenge and like to compete and perform for others in large and small venues.
